Job Title : Research Assistant
Reports to : Research and Development Officer.
Purpose of the job : To assist in undertaking research process at NMS.
Location of the job : Entebbe
KEY RESULT AREAS/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1) To develop research proposals
2) To conduct research on relevant subjects to enable management to
take appropriate and informed decisions
3) To develop data collection instruments
4) To collect/participate in data collection
5) To enter collected data into the computer soft ware
6) To analyse and interpret data and make reports based on me findings
7) To coordinate research logistics ,

Job requirement
PERSON SPECIFICATION (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS)
1) An Honour's degree with specialization in Statistics from a recognized institution.
2) A minimum of two years experience in conducting research.
3) Ability to analyse and interpret primary raw data.
4) Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
5) Computer literate in SPSS/STATA software packages
6) Willing to travel widely locally
7) Must have an eye for details
