Universities in North Carolina founded RTI in 1958 as a centerpiece of the Research Triangle Park.
RTI IS SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE FOR AN UPCOMING GOVERNANCE PROJECT.
RTI anticipates staffing the following expertise in either long term job positions or short term consultancies.
• District planning and budgeting
• Local service delivery in key sectors, such as education, health, water and sanitation, and agriculture
• Parliamentary strengthening
• Civil society strengthening
• Community mobilization
• Procurement reform
• Local revenue generation
• Land reform
• Communications
• Training

Job requirement

Successful candidates in these fields will demonstrate at least 10 years experience in one or more area of functional expertise including work on prior government-capacity building programs funded by the Government of Uganda or donor agencies. Successful candidates will also have extensive hands-on experience working within their field at the district and/or sub-county level of government, with a variety of stakeholders like technical staff, elected council¬ors, and NGOs, and will be recognized experts in their field.
