About this Job:
JOB CODE: HRM/073/602 REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR -NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE
ROLE: Effective provisioning, installation/ configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure and sustain u high level of availability in line with set ICT policy strategy and management instructions.
Requirement:
Person Specifications; (a) Qualifications
• Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information engineering or other related areas; such education should be at a level which demonstrates the ability to perform duties comparable to those listed herein.
• At least one Professional certification such as MCSE, CCNA or equivalent
(b) Experience and Knowledge
• Experience in all areas of local and wide area networks management administration and maintenance including system configuration, setup, troubleshooting, planning, designing, implementation, and user support; experience installing and supporting Microsoft server technologies; experience supporting telecommunications equipment.
• Working knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol, Internet, e-mail systems, telecommunications • and data communications; standard operating
systems, software packages, and software utilities; proper records maintenance and storage for local and distributed environments.
• Skill and ability to provide technical support to users and manage corporate desktop environments using tools like Microsoft Active Director, SMS etc..
• At least 1 year of experience working with networks in mixed protocol. It will be an added advantage if this relates to a corporate environment.

• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
• Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 12kgs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
• Willingness to work additional hours during the week and/or weekend, if required.
• ability and willingness to travel on work assignments sometimes with little advanced notice;
