POSITION: CHIEF IT OFFICER
He should be a person between 30-45-years of age and with the requisite experience and ability to manage the entire IT set up of Alam Group of Companies, The successful
candidate will be in charge of the ICT function of the whole organization.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• formulate, implement and evaluate an ICT strategic plan.
• Create an efficient and prompt user support in all areas.
• Develop and maintain accurate data transfer system.
• Maintain back up systems with easy retrievals.
• Develop data security to eliminate data loss and incorrect information.
• Ensure efficient LAN and WAN.
• Develop an ICT Training programme for the organization.
• Advise on computer systems procurement.
• Responsible for regularizing the ICT computer maintenance programme.
• Ensure enhancement of new technology as per the trends that are cost effective and add value to the company.
• Initiate and continuously advise on investments in scalable software and hard ware systems
• To provide IT support in pursuit business growth,
• To ensure continuous and effective provision of up to date ICT services.
Job requirement
Qualification:
• A minimum of BSc (computer science) and 5 years experience as an analyst or ICT officer in a reputable organization.
• An MSC (computer Science) will be an added advantage.
• Profession qualification in ICT (msce, mscd, dba)
• Ability to formulate, implement and monitor ICT policies, standard procedures
• Experience in systems design and implementation.
• Management of the company website, internet, local and I wide area network,
• Experience in ICT project management Age: 30-45 years.
