Location: Aber, Oyam District (Northern region, Uganda)

The project title is “Improving access and quality of reproductive health services for Oyam District, Uganda ”.
The candidate will be responsible of for the project overall management, planning, supervision, coordination and reporting.

Keys duties:

1. Strengthening and improving use of Family Planning Services.
2. Providing adolescent sexual and reproductive health.
3. Strengthening Antenatal Care services including prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV.
4. Providing safe delivery, Emergency Obstetric care and New-born care.
5. Strengthening the referral system.
6. Addressing gender discriminatory practices including Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) through prevention and care services.
7. Strengthening district management, coordination and general advocacy for RH.
8. Relationship with Financing Agency

SALARY: TBC

REQUIREMENTS:

- Citizenship of a State of the European Union (requirement essential for administrative issues)
- University Degree in Medicine with further specialisation in Public Health
- Previous experience in project implementation ad coordination in developing countries.
- Excellent oral and written English.
- Ability to build constructive working relationships with colleagues of the project and the counterpart.
