(1 Position)
Main Task
To assist the Manager Audit and Risk Management in checking and monitoring adherence to Organizational policies and procedures to meet the Corporation's strategic objectives.
Key result Areas
• To perform reviews of financial systems, internal controls and organizational policies to assure Management of efficient and effective use of resources , accuracy of records, security of assets and prevention of fraud in accordance with the policies and procedures , national laws and International standards of auditing.(ISAs)
• Perform audits and/or special investigations of systems, policies and activities as required by the supervisor.
• Ensure production of activity audit reports and timely submission to the Supervisor for final review.
• Support the Audit and Risk Management Manager in identifying and evaluating risks, monitor and report on the effectiveness of the Organization's risk management systems.
• Review and add value to the work of internal audit staff before submission to the Supervisor for final review.
• Carry out scheduled as well as impromptu /spot check audit as and when it is deemed necessary; prepare periodic reports for discussion with the supervisor.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor and/or Management from time to time.

Person's specifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in either Commerce or Business Administration or Financial Management majoring in Accounting from a recognized University plus a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA . and CIA with 4 years experience from a reputable Organization
