10. JOB TITLE: MARKETING OFFICER (4 POSITIONS)
Key result areas
• Identify and provide services to meet identified customer requirements.
• Implement marketing initiatives aimed at ensuring effective market penetration. •
• Grow market share and revenue generation in the East African region by projecting the best corporate image.
• Respond to customer inquiry and carry out customer related transactions according to customer's expectations and corporation policy.
• Prepare a market research plan while determining sample units and appropriate contact method use.
• Carry out monthly market and sales survey to assess the performance of the corporation according to set targets.
• Monitor the services and products offered in line with competitors.
• Liaise with stakeholders on market concerns such as pricing.
• Organize and classify customer identified needs.
• Research, plan and monitor database in line with the market plan.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor and/or Management from time to time.
Job requirement
Person's specifications:
B Com or BBA (Marketing option) or a Degree in Marketing PLUS 5 years working experience in Broadcasting industry preferably in a fast moving television or Radio industry; Good marketing and interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal English language skills. Good Research and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and long hours including weekends.
