Abt
Associates Inc. is managing a large program to support Indoor Residual
Spraying (IRS) for Malaria in Uganda. The program provides technical and
Implementation assistance to the Ministry of Health and National
Malaria Control Program (NMCP) to support all aspects of the national
IRS program, targeting key districts across the country. Abt is seeking
assistance for this and prospect IRS efforts in the following
capacities:
3. Capacity Building Manager (based in Kampala):
• Lead project strategic vision for local capacity building
• Advocate for strengthening IRS knowledge, skills, experience and systems among national partners at central and local levels
• Work with stakeholders and project partners to devise innovative approaches for building the capacity of national and district governments in IRS coordination and implementation
• Advise on training curricula development and facilitation applying adult learning techniques

Job requirement
(Requirements:
Master degree in public health, education, sociology, public or
business administration, communications, or other relevant field, 8+
years of relevant work experience in policy dialogue, training, and
capacity building in public health, excellent interpersonal
communication skills, advanced skills in English and knowledge of Acholi
preferred)
