Abt
Associates Inc. is managing a large program to support Indoor Residual
Spraying (IRS) for Malaria in Uganda. The program provides technical and
Implementation assistance to the Ministry of Health and National
Malaria Control Program (NMCP) to support all aspects of the national
IRS program, targeting key districts across the country. Abt is seeking
assistance for this and prospect IRS efforts in the following
capacities:
4. Capacity Building Specialist (full-time/ consultant, Kampala):
• Lead documentation of training courses on operations, planning, logistics, and M&E of IRS for local counterparts
• Pre-test and revise training materials
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project team to finalize the training products
• Facilitate "trainings of trainers on the developed programs

Job requirement
(Requirements:
Master degree in management, education communications, 6+ years of
relevant experience; ability to write educational materials and
technical reports; experience with adult learning techniques; strong
abilities to develop, plan, implement, and facilitate trainings and
workshop; advanced written/oral skills in English knowledge of knowledge
of Acholi preferred)
