Finance and Administravitive Officer

Qualifications
A first degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies or equivalent with a preferred minimum of three years of experience in working with multi/bilateral organizations, national and/or international NGOs;
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel and Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented
Working Experience:
  • Good organizational skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience in standard budgeting and financial management practices
  • Logistical and organizational experience and capacity

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provides administrative support to the Secretariat Coordinator in the coordination of CCM meetings and support to its various committees.
  2. Logistically supports the CCM in the organization and coordination of its general meetings as well as its committee/subcommittee meetings and any other meetings necessary.
  3. Prepares and maintains a record of participation of CCM members at all meetings and informs the Secretariat Coordinator of those instances in which an individual’s attendance does not conform to the requirements of the CCM Governance Manual.
  4. Manages routine functioning of the Secretariat offices, including the maintenance of equipment, supplies, and communications (mail, phones, internet, etc).
  5. Conducts Secretariat activities according to the CCM work plan and budget; assists in developing work plans and budgets annually.
  6. Maintains accounting records of CCM budget and expenditures under the supervision of the Secretariat Coordinator; liaise with funds recipient entity for timely financial management.
  7. Prepares routing financial reports to the CCM Executive Committee and the Finance and Procurement Committee on CCM expenditures; coordinates annual audit reports to the LFA to meet Global Fund CCM funding requirements.
  8. Provides financial and logistical support to CCM members for meetings, venue, catering, travel, and supplies. Provide logistical support to members for oversight site visits.
  9. Takes minutes at CCM and committee meetings as required.
  10. Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Secretariat Coordinator.
