Mityana Uganda Charity Ltd is Christian Non-Profit making Charitable Organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life of the Orphans and Vulnerable Children with their parents through different projects in the Districts of Mityana, Mubende, Kiboga, Kasambya and Kyankwanzi. The Charity seeks to recruit a full time self motivated Farm Manager with high levels of Integrity.

Duty Station Mubende District, Kasanda Sub-County

Main Purpose of the Job:
The Farm Manager will work with the workers on the farm to ensure that the goals required are delivered and will be responsible for planning, organizing and managing the activities of the farm to meet the objectives of the charity. The farm manager is responsible for planning strategies for maximum yield, organizing farm administration, machinery work and maintenance. Candidates will need to demonstrate that they have experience with all husbandry tasks, Pest and Diseases, P&D controls products, establishment, irrigation, fertilizers, nutrition, harvest and costs associated with all coffee related tasks, timeframes of jobs, tractors, implements and maintenance.
Requirement:

Qualification
Bachelors Degree in Agricultural related field.

Additional Qualifications:
Certificate in Computer training with MS Excel and Ms Word packages with excellent Internet skills is a MUST
At least four years experience in commercial coffee production.
The applicant should be a self starter, energetic, passionate, self driven, with IT skills and good understanding of basic accounting principles.
The candidate should be able to ride a Motorcycle with a valid driving permit. The candidate should be ready to start working by 1st April 2012.
