Nile Breweries Limited is a leading beverage company in Uganda and a subsidiary of SABMiller (one of the largest brewing groups in the world), also recognized as the best employer in Uganda in 2004, 2005 am 2009. The company seeks to recruit a highly motivated, results oriented professional to the Credit team.
Key Responsibilities:
Debtors/ receivables management.
Monthly reconciliation of customer accounts and balances.
Prompt closure/resolution of internal and external customers.
Routine banking and withdrawals.
Preparation of periodic credit reports as required from time to time.
Daily collection (payments) from customers.
Safe custody of cash and payments before banking.
Depot petty cash management.
Preparing routine reports regarding credit management.
Implement cash management policies and procedures
Provide support in any adhoc duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirement:
Requirements:
Ideally Bachelors degree in Commerce, accounting, finance or business administration
At least two years’ working experience as an accountant
Work experience in an FMCG will be an added advantage
Knowledge of accounting packages and computerized business systems
Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision. Must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays
Must be willing to work in various places across the country
Team player and with high level of integrity.
