Project Site Coordinator-Koboko REF: FHI-PSC-UG
JOB SUMMARY: The ROADS Project Site Coordinator (Koboko) will be responsible for overall project implementation at the site and for creating linkages and referral systems with other site coordination structures. The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Country Manager, ROADS Project

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for monitoring and arranging support to promote technical quality of the programs. Support project development and design at the site.
2. Lead monthly monitoring meetings with local implementing partners to ensure timely and effective program implementation and timely financial reporting. Facilitate and ensure timely coordination of multi-cluster trainings.
3. Conduct periodic meetings with stakeholders and target groups and represent the organization in relevant meetings and other forums at the site. Provide and ensure timely and accurate briefing of program management staff of new program opportunities, key community and governance issues.
4. Work closely with other USG partners, local implementing agencies, NGOs, CBOs, FBOs, business leaders, public and private health facilities, district government coordinating bodies, and other stakeholders at the respective site to ensure timely implementation of and participation in project activities.
5. Routinely collect and analyze information on project implementation and compile and submit monthly and quarterly narrative and program monitoring data reports on time.
6. Conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluation of project activities at the site emphasizing quality programming. In liaison with in-country and Nairobi program staff secure needed technical and management support as required by the implementing partners.
7. Develop and/or strengthen strategic partnership forums and alliances for an expanded response to HIV and AIDS at the site level. Manage FHI office at the site including oversight of petty cash account and office administration.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Knowledge and experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
2. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, often under pressure and with minimal supervision;
3. Experience with or understanding of multi-sectoral HIV and AIDS programming;
4. Good negotiation skills, diplomacy and sensitivity in dealing with partners

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
A Graduate Degree, preferably in Social Sciences or Public Health, and at least three to five years experience in HIV and AIDS programming. Experience in program and financial management Strong working knowledge of computer programs; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
