It is a subsidiary of SABMiller, the second largest brewing group in the world. Nile Breweries Ltd seeks to recruit highly motivated, results oriented and dynamic candidate for the post below:-

MANAGER LEGAL SERVICES (XI)
Key Result Areas:
• Handles all legal matters in which the Company is involved including making appearances and representation at the Courts.
• Prepare legal briefs, opinion on matters relevant to the Company and the industry in particular, e.g. Labour issues, Beverage laws, Standards, Tax etc., and review of Internal Regulations and Policies.
• Prepare and or review various contracts in which the Company is engaged.
• Custodian of all details on real properties and its disposal when necessary.

• Custodian of the Company Seal and all details on intellectual properties and Trade Marks and their renewals.
• Filing of Annual and Statutory returns of the Company and its subsidiaries.
• Maintain and renewal of business licences.
• Handle all matters pertainingto Shareholders, including maintenance and update of the Members' Register.
• Handling the payments and replacement of dividends.
• Managing Regulators Portfolio and be in compliance with their requirements and conditions as per their modus operand!.
• Preparation and Management of Budget in line with the Company's guidelines and STI targets.
• Review of various legislations (new), which might have impact to the business.


Job requirement

Qualifications and Personnel specifications:
• A Bachelors' degree in Law (LLB)
• Diploma in Legal practice
• The candidate must be a registered Advocate with at least five years of practicing.
• Experience in handling Company matters, Tax Laws, Labor/Employment laws and intellectual property law.
• Self driven, and minimum supervision,
• Computer literacy is a must.
