Grants Manager

Universities in North Carolina founded RTI in 1958 as a centerpiece of the Research Triangle Park. RTI IS SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR AN UPCOMING GOVERNANCE PROJECT. Grants Manager will have worked on several USAID-funded projects and have a thorough understanding of USAID financial management regulations for grants and contracts. Must have broad experience with grants program management, including design of grant mechanisms, preparation of grants manuals, analysis of grant proposals and pre-award due diligence reviews to assess grantee financial management capabilities, budget negotiations, and grantee performance monitoring during implementation. Job requirement Qualifications: in addition to experience with the tasks above, experience with financial reporting, auditing, and internal financial management controls for nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) is preferred. A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, International Relations, or related fields is preferred. At least 5 years relevant experience in grants management/administration and international development projects, preferably USAID-funded, or relevant work experience in projects supported by international organizations (UN, World Bank, IDB).
