Abt
Associates Inc. is managing a large program to support Indoor Residual
Spraying (IRS) for Malaria in Uganda. The program provides technical and
Implementation assistance to the Ministry of Health and National
Malaria Control Program (NMCP) to support all aspects of the national
IRS program, targeting key districts across the country. Abt is seeking
assistance for this and prospect IRS efforts in the following
capacities:
1. Deputy Chief of Party for Operations (based in Gulu):
• Provide strategic supervision to program operations
• Provide competent guidance on malaria and IRS to ensure successful IRS logistics
• Manage partners and project team
• Build and maintain effective relationships with local governments.

Job requirement
(Requirements:
Master degree in public administration, environmental management,
business or operations management, or other relevant discipline. 10+
years of relevant experience, management of complex programs, ability to
anticipate and solve problems, strong interpersonal communication
skills, advanced written/oral skills in English, knowledge of Acholi
preferred)
